Who We Are
A Certified Hypnotherapist is one that has spent hundreds of hrs learning their trade from trained professional hypnotists meeting standards set by the National Guild of Hypnotists. I am also a Certified Neurolinguistic Programmer/Coach, again spending hundreds of hours of training by certified Neurolinguistic trainers in order to become a member of the Society of NLP. After extensive study I hold an Advance Certificate in the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) one of the tools I use and teach to my clients. I have 20 yrs experience working in the critical care units and emergency rooms of major hospitals as a respiratory therapist. Plus I have spent 30 yrs studying nutrition and holistic approaches as a personal avocation. All of this training and experience allows me to assist people in resolving the normal problems of every day life; like how to stop smoking, managing stress, managing weight, improve self esteem, releasing irrational fears like fear flying and closed spaces; emotions and situations we all have to deal with in our lives. I teach and coach people how to use new methods and techniques, (which I call tools) that help them gain a better control over their lives and increase their joy in life. Think of it this way…..If a man decides he wants to make some improvements to his house he is not going to try and do it with just a hammer; he knows he is going to need various tools and he will need to learn how to use those tools….the same applies to us, when we want to improve our emotional and physical life we need the right tools to do it with and to learn how to use those tools.…I teach people these methods/tools and how to use these tools, so they can make the changes they want in their lives from now on.
